IPC is a vibrant community of faith seeking to love God by loving all of God’s creation. We embrace traditional reformed worship, but we are open to the ways in which the Holy Spirit moves our music ministry to embrace new and creative expressions. What is most important to us is that our worship be faithful to God as it helps our community draw closer to Christ.
Our Music Ministry is guided by the capable hands of our Director of Music Ministry, Ms. Betty Kingston in consultation with our pastor and an active worship committee. Our energetic volunteer choir gathers every Thursday at 7pm-8:30pm from September through May to practice and prepare music for congregational worship. The choir also performs a Choral Cantata during worship in the seasons of Advent and on Palm Sunday. The Ivyland Choir takes their show on the road periodically traveling across town to sing for our community. Outside appearances include Ann’s Choice Retirement Community and the Cancer Support Center on Kirk Road in Warminster.
Our youth also participate in worship when they volunteer to read, light candles or sing!
During the summers, members of our community are invited to joyfully share their gifts for music. Signups are available in church, or you may contact our office for details.
