IPC is committed to sending love out into the world by putting our faith in Christ into action. Through acts of service, we seek to love God and love all of God’s creation.
We give a significant portion of our financial resources to our mission partners. We also give our time and talents by educating ourselves about the complex problems facing our community and partnering with others who seek the welfare of our world. Our mission and service efforts focus primarily on homelessness, hunger, and creative ministry to those struggling with addiction. Our church also welcomes a variety of community partners into our building.
We are proud to host three thriving AA gatherings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, as well as two Girl Scout Troops. We serve as our community’s polling place, and regularly host blood drives. We also serve a chaplaincy role for our local volunteer fire company.
Finally, we have committed to seeking the welfare of our community through creative ministry with the Ivyland Community Arts Initiative (ICA) (link to their page). Our church is blessed to be home to a wide variety of artists and creative people. We believe that by harnessing the power of the arts, we can breathe peace into the world.
